The Ten Thousand Villages store located in Stuyvesant Plaza will host a “Community Shopping Day†to benefit CACC. 15% of all purchases made during those hours (excluding gift cards) will benefit our Emergency Shelter. Tell your friends and plan to stop by to do some of your holiday shopping. The mission of Ten Thousand Villages is to benefit farmers, craftspeople, and artisans in developing countries. So, any purchases made will not only benefit the person in another country who made the item, but will also help the homeless people in Albany who use our Shelter.
